Sci-fi roguelike shooter Moros Protocol has confirmed its console release date. PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2 will be released on October 1, 2026. Let us remind you that this game has appeared on the PC service before steam and GOG.
The console version will include content added one year after the PC version was released, including new bosses, weapons and game modifiers. The developers have also retained a co-op mode designed for two players. The Nintendo Switch 2 version will receive it as an update upon release.
The story of Moros Accords takes place on the abandoned battleship Orpheus, where players must fight their way through monster-filled corridors. The game combines the fast-paced gunplay of classic shooters from the 1990s and early 2000s with procedural generation and roguelike elements. Each attempt is made up of handcrafted parts and procedurally generated layouts, so every game is different. During the game, players collect weapons and upgrade them to form their own set of equipment. Death does not stop character development but becomes part of the process. The arsenal also includes a rather unusual melee technique that allows you to kick opponents.
