Previously, the process of building a website in ChatGPT was a separate operation; the service has now been complemented by a “co-build” feature that allows you to invite others to participate in the project. They can make, save, and publish changes independently, which makes working as a team easier. When preparing resources for a small event or job, you can not only exchange opinions and discuss suggestions, but also instantly connect to the process and work directly.
The ability to collaborate doesn’t mean everyone can use the project: you can keep the project format private and grant access only to certain people. This is useful when you need to build an internal tool, an early prototype, or other project where you want to work with a small group of people before opening the site to a wider audience.
The time from entering a request to deploying the site is roughly cut in half – and high speed can make a difference if users keep trying out ideas and making changes. Access to “behind the scenes” information has been simplified: ChatGPT can analyze databases connected to the site and display the results to other users who are allowed to edit. This is useful when you are developing a tool for collecting information and you want to quickly check what data is being saved without having to do it manually. Finally, there’s support for custom domains – you can append your own address to sites created and published by ChatGPT.
