Rockstar Games, which usually maintains a strict silence on any details about future projects, has inadvertently leaked plans for the online portion of GTA 6. In a slew of legal documents filed by the publisher as part of an ongoing labor dispute in court, it mentions a “32-player online format” being developed, which the company considers to be strictly confidential information.
The mention comes amid allegations against previously fired developers who allegedly discussed the project’s closed features in unofficial chats. While the final size of the upcoming multiplayer lobby has not yet been directly confirmed, the document provides the first insight into the scale the studio is working on in anticipation of the console version of the game launching.
