Inspired by the success of Tencent’s Chinese version of the game, Embark Studio has resumed discussions on the possibility of adding a pure PvE mode to shooter ARC Raiders. Previously, the developer’s stance was that dropping the competitive element would undermine the original idea of the project, but the enthusiastic response from foreign audiences to the more relaxed mechanics forced management to reconsider their view.
In the Chinese client, players enthusiastically embraced the option of a “peaceful” start, with an optional flag system for PvP used as a break between intense raids. Now fans of the global version are eagerly waiting to see whether this successful experience will affect the team’s future game development plans.
Would you like to see a dedicated PvE mode or a peaceful lobby system in the global release of ARC Raiders, or should such a project be based entirely on uncompromising PvPvE confrontation?
