Ready or Not turns the mission editor into a new playground for players to try out

Ready or Not developers have summarized the initial results of the mission editor, which was released just over a week ago. During this time, players managed to create many of their own scenarios – ranging from completely realistic operations to frankly crazy experiments.

The team pays special attention to custom missions, which are shared by the community via the official Discord and YouTube. These include a reimagined Union Trust Bank robbery, which pits a SWAT team against heavily armed criminals with high energy, high morale and a penchant for fake surrenders. Another scenario turns a firefight into an almost hardcore shooting gallery: players are reduced to 50 units of health, enemies and civilians are knocked down in one hit, and most enemies are equipped with pistols and AKMs.

There are bigger options. Mariposa Tomb offers combat with 15 enemies, enhanced AI, and 10 traps. Action participants may encounter fighter jets carrying MK18, MP5, M16 and other firearms, and some doors will be locked.

In addition to custom missions, the developers continue to showcase mods, videos, and community art. The studio also reflected on its partnership with Stack Up, an organization that supports veterans and addresses mental health issues through gaming and geek culture.
