As part of the BlizzCon 2026 event, the announcement that all Hearthstone fans have been waiting for has been made. This card game will officially introduce its twelfth new game category – Monk.
The new class will be represented by the legendary pandaren brewmaster Chen Stormstout. The developers describe Monk as an agile and very flexible class that can easily adapt to any situation on the table and change its strategy on the fly. The main focus of the gameplay is the ability to adapt to your opponent’s style and land powerful combos at the most opportune moments. Monk is scheduled to be officially released in March 2027.
At launch, the Monk will immediately receive his own base deck of cards, as well as additional class sets in mini-sets to quickly catch up to other classes in the number of options available.
