Google has officially confirmed the start date for pre-orders for its Googlebook laptops. The email sent by the company urged recipients to “Get Googlebook ready” and gave a date of September 21, 2026.

According to the VideoCardz portal, which received the letter, pre-orders will start at 9:00 Eastern Time (16:00 Moscow time). Google has also provided a direct pre-order link, although the message does not indicate pricing or an exact list of laptop models that will be available to order when sales begin.
Google announced the new Googlebook platform in May and said the first devices would go on sale in the fall, but did not give a specific start date. Earlier it was reported that a full demonstration of Googlebook is planned for September 15th.
The first manufacturers to release Googlebook versions include Acer, Asus, Dell, HP and Lenovo. The Googlebook platform combines elements of Android and ChromeOS, is based on Gemini artificial intelligence technology, and provides functions such as Magic Pointer, custom gadgets, and integration with Android smartphones.
According to VideoCardz, Google has not confirmed when the first batch of Googlebook devices will start shipping to customers.
