Towers in Wardogs are more than just sniper vantage points. Capturing these structures allows you to gain a vantage point, organize a base around it, or even attract a hotspot area to yourself. Therefore, control of the tower can seriously affect the outcome of the game.
At the beginning of each battle, several neutral towers will appear on the map. To capture one of these, go up the stairs to the central part of the building and find the control room. Approach the computer to the left of the keyboard and interact with it – after hacking, the tower will be controlled by your team. Keep in mind that there will be a delay at the start of the match and after changing owners, so sometimes you will have to fight with your opponent for several minutes.

Captured towers serve another important function. Each successful capture is given a special code. Once the team has collected the complete four-digit code, the code must be entered on the keypad to the right of the main terminal. After this, the hot zone magnet is activated, moving it towards your tower. Even if you only know three numbers, you can try to guess the last one. This mechanic is particularly useful for consolidating an advantage or turning around a bad game, but it’s worth preparing your defenses in advance: with the hot zone, opponents may come to your position.
