Rayman Legends: Retelling was actually scheduled to release in October, but it’s been a long time coming. Subsequently, the release date was pushed back significantly in a relatively short period of time.
With the launch of Rayman Legends: Retelling, early classics will be given a new lease of life and re-released on current platforms. This already has a release date, as according to Ubisoft’s previous statement, it should be October 1, 2026. Unfortunately, nothing will come of this!
In a relatively short period of time, only about two weeks before planned publication, it has now been delayed. Now announcing via social media, they will now give themselves another two months to launch. The new release date is now December 3, 2026.

In this case, there seems to be something of a paradox: the new version has already achieved golden status, so in form terms it is actually finished. Still, the development team now wants to go back to work and use the extra time to make sure “every detail gets the care it deserves.”
As a small compensation, a large game overview trailer will go online on September 22, 2026 in preparation for the launch. We still have to wait until December 3rd to play the game on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC.
