NC Company announced the strengthening of strategic cooperation with Microsoft before the global release of MMORPG “AION 2”. The two parties agreed to expand cooperation in the fields of technology, server infrastructure operations and marketing.
On September 14, representatives of the two companies met at the Banqiao NC Research Center to discuss preparations for the global release of “Aion 2”. For NC, NC Commercial Director and Vice President Baek Seung Wook attended the meeting, while Microsoft Korea was represented by General Manager Cho Won Woo.
NC plans to use the global infrastructure of Microsoft Azure cloud platform to simultaneously launch Aion 2 in different regions around the world. The company expects to use it to handle large numbers of concurrent connections and cope with load changes between regions.
Microsoft will use a global technology organization and a Korean team to support the project. The collaboration will include pre-launch performance testing and rapid post-launch response to technical issues. In addition, the two companies also intend to involve Microsoft’s global game division in joint marketing of “Aion 2”.

Through NC in cooperation, we intend to elevate NC in gaming to a global level in a new industry.”
