Trends in recent years have led to the emergence of various hybrid vehicles on the Chinese market equipped with fairly large-capacity power batteries. This layout method is especially reasonable in the field of large crossovers, but the Denza N8L Pure electric version Breaking stereotypes, CLTC bikes offer a range of up to 960 kilometers at an affordable price.

Previously, similarly sized cars were forced to combine internal combustion engines with large-capacity power batteries to ensure reliable autonomy, as three-row crossovers equipped with large-capacity batteries were too costly to survive in the fiercely competitive Chinese market. At the same time, BYD, which owns the Denza brand, is the world’s largest electric vehicle manufacturer and the second largest power battery manufacturer, with huge potential for price competition.
Just recently it would have been hard to believe, but the large six-seat Denza N8L, equipped with a Blade power battery with a capacity of 130 kWh, is priced from $44,280 in China. At the same time, the car can provide a cruising range of up to 960 kilometers without intermediate charging, and supports an 800-volt architecture with fast charging capabilities. The overall dimensions of the new car are inherited from the hybrid version: 5200 mm long, 1999 mm wide, 1820 mm high, and the wheelbase is 3075 mm. The crossover seats six people, evenly spread across three rows of seats.
Denza N8L eliminates the internal combustion engine under the hood and can provide an additional rear trunk with a capacity of 208 liters and a servo-controlled hood. It is equipped with drainage holes that not only allow you to quickly clean the compartment surface from the inside, but also allow you to store wet items in it if necessary, including ice cubes for cooling drinks or fresh catches.
The car is equipped with advanced DiSus-A suspension with dual air pressure chambers and electronically controlled shock absorbers. Steering the rear wheels reduces the crossover’s turning radius to 4.58 metres. The proprietary God’s Eye 5.0 system provides active driving assistance on the highway and in the city, allowing the crossover to park and maneuver out of tight spaces independently without the driver being in the cab.
The Denza N8L hybrid version began to be supplied to the Chinese market in October last year. It was modernized in June this year and can travel up to 430 kilometers on the CLTC cycle on a charge using a battery with a capacity of 75 kWh. This generation of blade power battery allows Denza N8L to increase the remaining power from 10% to 70% in just 5 minutes at a compatible high-power charging station, and it only takes 9 minutes to reach the 97% level.
