Things get uneasy in Appalachia: Maniac laughter echoes through the forests, killers wearing clown masks attack settlements, and corpses appear in the middle of the wasteland. Fallout 76 is preparing a fall story about the return of the Pintsize Slasher.
The story of The Slasher will gradually unfold over the weeks following the update. Players will be able to follow what’s going on via The Debunker Radio Station, and are invited to start investigations by broadcasting breaking news in Pip-Boy. Judging from the description, the wasteland once again decides to remind you why it’s best not to walk here alone.
One of the main innovations is “Legacy Seasons”. Now, the developers will be able to bring back old seasons so you can get the rewards you missed out on. The first is Armored Ace and Power Patrol from Cold Steel – which will be available throughout the season. Season 10: Red Rocket “Across America” Presents: Steel City will return in the upcoming winter update.
Also on September 22, new seasonal fish with their own recipes will appear in Appalachian waters. Season 26 – Beware the Blood Moon, dark-themed rewards await players. Unique weapons and armor will now allow you to change legendary mods and add a fourth legendary mod.
