Developers at studio Featherweight Games have announced the release date for their game Chained Beasts. It will be available on all platforms, including Xbox Series X|S, on October 15th and will be available in Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass from launch.
Chained Beasts is a cooperative action roguelike about gladiators. It can be played in single-player mode, but its main feature is up to 4-player co-op. When playing together, players are locked together and must fight together in the arena. In combat, you can use not only weapons but also the environment – throw objects at your opponents, push them into walls with spikes, or send them into pits with snakes. In this case, players must coordinate their actions, as unsuccessful actions may cause the characters to become confused or interfere with each other.
The developers note that as you progress, the main character will take damage that affects gameplay. To win, you’ll need to learn new skills, purchase weapons and equipment, and unlock new characters.
