HELLDIVERS 2 introduces the new Warbond Ironclad Democracy, which will add new tools of destruction to the Helldivers’ arsenal. The developers propose to go to the front lines and address democratic issues as directly as possible – preferably with a bang.
Developers describe the new device as the next step in the evolution of super-Earth combat technology. Players must test themselves in large-scale operations against hostile forces, turning enemy resistance into the next target for total liberation.

Ironclad Democracy is designed for both beginners just getting acclimated to the ranks of Helldivers, as well as veterans who have been through many less-than-successful landings. The main ideas of Warbond remain the same: more firepower, more freedom to choose how to destroy your enemies, and judging by the description, minimal reason to save ammo.
The developers encourage players to enter Hellpod and travel to the most dangerous war zones. There, new arsenals can be tested in real operations, with the cost of mistakes traditionally being measured not only by mission failures but also by the number of Helldivers the next squad must replace.
