Italian publisher 505 Games and developer ArtPlay released Game trailer Every Bloodstained: Scarlet Engagementthe sequel to Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, was unveiled at the 2026 Tokyo Game Show.

According to the company, the new gameplay footage shows off “a wealth of never-before-seen content.” Official description“giving fans the most in-depth look at the adventure that awaits them. The trailer showcases new characters, diverse environments, fearsome enemies, and several new gameplay mechanics that evolve the exploration-focused action and progression systems that have made Bloodstained one of the most popular modern metroidvanias.”

Like its predecessor, Bloodstained: Scarlet Engagement is a 2.5D side-scrolling action gamewith metroidvania mechanics. It transports us to sixteenth-century England, immerses us in a Gothic atmosphere, and requires us to explore, create resources, and strategically fight the enemies we face.
The story revolves around a A flying castle controlled by a mysterious figure named “Elias”who uses his demonic powers to terrorize citizens. We will control two heroes, Leonard and Alex, who protect the weakest.
