Fenris Creations studio has announced the launch date for a 24-hour paid alpha test of EVE Vanguard, an action-shooter game set in the MMORPG EVE Online universe. This phase will begin on November 10, 2026, but will initially be available only through the EVE Launcher. The Steam early access version is planned to be released in the third quarter of 2027, and the project will enter the Beta testing stage at the same time.
The November release of EVE Vanguard will be a continuation of July’s Operation Avalon beta. The developers took player feedback into consideration and made various changes and added new content.
First of all, in addition to the already familiar Lost Convoy map, three other maps will appear:
- high castle Highly safe operation will be provided, prohibiting damage caused by other players.
- warago Troops will be sent into the low-security abyss, where enemy troops and other combat clones pose a threat.
- refuge Three three-person squads will be allowed to fight in an ever-changing maze. The winner will be the only team to leave the location with rare weapon cores needed to craft advanced equipment.
The weapon development system will reach a new level. Telemetry data is available using specific weapon families, allowing for more powerful options and additional loadout configurations. The Gallente BR-60 combat carbine will also appear in the arsenal. Combat clones will receive new protective suits and their range of action will be expanded thanks to the ability to climb obstacles of medium and high heights. The interface will be redesigned for forming squads, setting up equipment, preparing for landings, and viewing post-battle reports. Changes will also affect aiming, enemy behavior, healers, and grenades.
The connection to the MMORPG EVE Online will become more prominent. Players will be able to side with one of New Eden’s four empires and undertake missions to develop their war clones. Going forward, completed missions and expeditions will begin to earn the chosen side military points in EVE Online’s Faction Wars event.
EVE Vanguard is a sci-fi action first-person shooter game based on the MMORPG EVE Online universe. Players take on the role of a technologically immortal combat clone traveling to the hostile planet of New Eden. During the raid, they must attack enemy targets, acquire valuable technology and decide when to leave the combat area. Between missions, characters return to their warships, where they craft gear and prepare kits for the next raid.
