Cygames has released paid add-on content for the fighting game Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising, adding a new character named Id. On the same day, the game debuted as a Legendary Edition on Nintendo Switch 2, which includes all released content and several exclusive features.
The Eid add-on can be purchased individually for 450 rubles or as part of the Season 2 pass for 1,855 rubles (price via Steam). The pack includes the fighter himself, a Premium Ada avatar, Character Studio icons, poses and emoticons, as well as additional objects for this feature.
The release of the DLC comes with the release of free update 2.60, which adds the new combat mechanic Chain Attack, Super Ultimate+ control mode, the new arena Ainsteddo Archipelago, and balance changes to several characters.
The developers have also added the ability to link saves from Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising to Granblue Fantasy: Relink – Endless Ragnarok on the same platform. To do this, players can get Raya weapon skins, new color options, avatars, special map designs, trophies, system voices, and more. “Granblue Fantasy: Reunion – Endless Ragnarok” will also give away the Raya weapon Apocalypse Karma Sword.
The Nintendo Switch 2 version gets an exclusive Gyro Battle mode. In it, combos and abilities can be activated by shaking the joystick without having to enter regular commands. The console also supports local matching between nearby systems without an Internet connection. Multiplayer supports cross-play between the PC, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 versions.
The Legendary Edition is already available on other platforms (price on Steam – 3,000 rubles). It includes the base game, Deluxe Character Pass Part 1, Deluxe Character Pass Part 2, and Additional Character Sets (Ids). Buyers of this edition before January 12, 2027 will also receive the Sandalphon Reverent Attire apparel. Three new weapon skin packs are available for purchase individually, along with previously distributed outfits, colors, and weapon skins previously available through the Premium Battle Pass.
Meanwhile, Cygames has changed the price of the standard version on PC, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5. The price on Steam is now 1350 rubles instead of 3579 rubles.
