GameSpot claims Wilds performs “surprisingly well” on Switch 2This comment became almost a meme after the disaster that was Cyberpunk 2077’s console launch, and should be used with caution. This was a somewhat unexpected verdict, given the performance issues discovered when other versions of Wilds debuted.
The editor explained that Capcom is still optimizing this version, which is why precise numbers for resolution and frame rate were not provided. But in his view, “IThe game frame rate remains at 30fps, which is quite stable.. It feels very smooth and responsive. ” inevitable loss of visual quality Overall performance is still at a good level compared to other platforms. A similar sentiment was echoed by All Out Gaming, which said “we were impressed by how smoothly it ran, even if the resolution looked a little blurry at times.”

However, there’s no video or demonstration of docking mode, so we’ll likely have to wait a little longer to learn more. We remind you that Monster Hunter Wilds will debut on Nintendo Switch 2 December 4. Capcom is traditionally expected to release new chapters of the series and provide demos, so it’s not ruled out that this version could be tried out in the coming weeks.
