Spider-Man: Another Day has officially become the highest-grossing film in U.S. home box office history with a 47-day box office marathon of $936,773, surpassing the film’s record “Star Wars: The Force Awakens”which lasted for more than ten years. Globally, the film grossed $2.45 billion, second only to James Cameron’s blockbusters “Avatar” and “Avengers: Endgame.”
The success of the “Spider-Man” series capped off 2026 for the movie industry, with domestic box office revenue this year steadily approaching the $10 billion mark for the first time since the pandemic. This is thanks to things like Odyssey and toy story 5and extremely profitable horror films on minimal budgets, including infatuated and secret room.
Lucasfilm has congratulated its colleagues at Sony and Marvel on the new record.
