Following RyzaChat:AI, another artificial intelligence game SophieChat:AI has been released

Not long ago, Koei Tecmo and SpiralAI Studio launched an artificial intelligence role-playing game RyzaChat:AI. The game’s monetization system is quite radical. In addition to the subscription, which allows only 15 messages to be sent every 10 days, players will need to purchase additional tokens to continue communicating. Apparently, despite this, the project was a success and now the developers are launching another similar project.

At Tokyo Game Show 2026, SophieChat:AI was announced, a game that will be based on the world of Atelier Sophie 2: The Alchemist of Mysterious Dreams. Players will be able to adventure in the Erde Vig, practice alchemy, engage in combat, or simply talk to protagonist Sophie Neuenmüller. The story is constructed in a free script format, so the application does not focus on completing a predetermined storyline, but rather on interacting with the characters through dialogue.

During the demo, actor Yuka Aisaka, who voices Sophie, showed off gameplay from the still-in-development version. For the new application, she also provided recordings that will be used for speech synthesis. Artist NOCO is one of the chief illustrators of Atelier Sophie and is responsible for Sophie’s facial expressions and clothing in SophieChat:AI.

SophieChat: Artificial intelligence is being developed for mobile devices running iOS and Android. Pre-registration for the Japanese version is now open: Official website.
