Launching on Xbox Series X on September 22 | “Dune: Awakening” is about to be released. The game is about to launch version 1.0 on consoles, having been in early access on PC for more than a year. Additionally, the action-adventure game will be available on Game Pass subscriptions immediately upon launch and will also receive a full-fledged single-player mode.

On Xbox Series X, the game offers 2 graphics modes – Quality and Performance. In upscaled 4K, the average native resolution is higher in quality priority mode.
Quality mode runs at 30 FPS, but when you open the menu the frame rate changes up and down – ranging from 25 to 35. In performance mode, the game strives to maintain 60 FPS, but will drop to closer to 50 frames per second.
How Dune: Awakening works on Xbox Series S
On the Xbox Series S console, the game has only one graphics mode – 720p, which can be scaled to 1080p. The frame rate is 60 frames per second, which is quite stable and rarely drops a few frames. In performance-first mode, the S-Series has higher average frame rates in benchmark tests than the X-Series.
