The sounds of the forest, the chime of the furnace, even nature’s reaction to the player’s actions – none of these are random details from Bell Wright. The developers talked about the work of sound engineer Kamil Novak and hinted that there are more new sounds to come.
in fresh interview Magnetic Magazine Kamil Novak talks about creating audio for Bellwright. He personally manages nearly the entire sound department, working alongside composer Jakub Petras to ensure that the music and environments respond to the player’s movements. For example, after deforestation, the surrounding sound images change: the sounds of birds and insects become different.
The developer also shared its plans for the near future. Novak is currently working on the audio for the upcoming horse update, as well as getting audio ready for several other features that will be released soon. The team promises to share details later, but for now players are invited to join Discord and leave feedback directly to the developers.
