The developers of Titan Quest II have revealed a new build paradigm for The Revenant – a combination of Warfare and Soul Mastery. The main bet here is the power-up Death Beam, which can literally wipe out enemies on the map.
This build uses passive bonuses, blessings, and enemy debuffs to maximize the beam’s damage. Before attacking, the player places a war flag, then uses Soul Vortex and Doomhorn, then activates Valor and releases Death Beam. Energy Siphon and Soul Burn make this ability more powerful, but require more energy and consume shadows. Therefore, you must monitor your resources and replenish them with Doomhorns and Elixirs when necessary.
Protection is provided by Layered Veil with Enhanced Barrier, as the Death’s Door passive significantly increases damage at low health. For equipment, the developers recommend heavy armor that emphasizes strength and items with spell damage or vitality bonuses. Useful options include Selene’s Moonlight Relic and Hollow Tooth Amulet. High movement speed is also useful: it helps to wait for energy and shadows to regenerate, while allowing the undead to dash around the map almost non-stop.
