During Capcom’s live coverage of the Tokyo Game Show, the team Monster Hunter Wilds: Rise Announcing the return of another historical monster in the series: I.

Hezu has always been one of the most disturbing monsters in the entire series, so much so that it could easily appear in a horror game. This albino flying dragon lives deep in caves and its pale, loose skin remains constantly moist, similar to that of amphibians. Visible veins beneath its milky white surface make it look almost pale, while its mouth is wide and long, filled with sharp leech-like teeth that flare out at the end of its long, elastic neck, capable of reaching out from the roof of its burrow to attack unsuspecting prey.

The first game sequence starring Khezu

For Ascendance, Capcom seems to be further making Khezu even scarier. In the demo video below, we see Hezu knock out the hunter and then try to devour him This sequence probably belongs to Biohazard. We see it emerge from an unexpected canyon in the cave, thanks to its extendable neck, and as if that wasn’t enough, its larvae also come back, ready to attach themselves to the hunter’s body and suck his blood.
