Cloud Imperium Games has released the Alpha 4.10.1 update for space simulator Star Citizen. With the release of the patch, a new event has begun related to the aftermath of Kyuubi’s attack on Orison.
Players must help rebuild the city and secure supplies after a recent attack. Over the next three weeks, 14 new contracts will be available in Star Citizen, rewarding them with themed armor sets and weapons.
At the same time, the developer also launched a new Kyuubi Shogun pack, which includes Argo ATLS IKTI Akuma. Another new feature is the Aegis Saber Raven EX, a new fighter jet designed to gain superiority in space.
Pirates Week in Star Citizen is also underway. The developer has added new skins for Drake ships and vehicles in the Grey’s Market series, bringing back some old skins and offering suit, pirate gear, and war bond upgrades.
Two Pirate Week starter packs are temporarily available to new players at up to 25% off. The promotion ends on September 28th.
