In a recent video, he explained the thinking within the studio while answering a question about the size of updates to Counter-Strike 2 and Team Fortress 2.

“Even at Valve, we were like, ‘I can’t believe we’re getting away with this,'” Faliszek explained. However, the former developer made it clear that this was not intended to tease players: “We are not trying to deceive you. It’s just that other teams have 1,000 people working on different things, with all these features, and Valve goes, ‘Here are five skins,'” he added wryly.

It is worth noting that “Counter-Strike 2” will be launched in 2023, replacing “Counter-Strike: Global Offensive”. Therefore, the team’s internal dynamics may have changed significantly during this period.
