The author is “The Witcher” Andrei Sapkovskyconfirmed that he’s working on Geralt’s next adventure, apparently in novel form.
Polish writer believes it will be ready By the end of 2027. Due to translation reasons, the Italian version may take longer, if not 2029, then at least 2028.

The information was shared during the Copernicus Conference in Torun, Poland. The author reveals that he has Defined the overall structure of the next book and is actively writing it.
Sapkovsky obviously didn’t want to reveal specific details of the plot, but he confirmed The protagonist is always Geralt of Riviabecause he was not interested in writing novels about other characters, such as Yennefer. We don’t know if the new story will be a prequel, but it’s plausible that it will be.

The novelist also previously told IGN USA that it was Interested in writing new short storiesor rather the first content he created on Geralt of Rivia before turning to novels. However, he explains, “Writing a short story is not easy. It is much more difficult than writing a novel, but if you succeed, it proves your mastery”.
Speaking of the Geralt of Rivia video game, we know that The Witcher 3 expansion wouldn’t be possible without a remaster of the base game.
