According to the authoritative business publication The Information, XBOX will conduct its second large-scale layoffs this week: hundreds of employees of the American gaming giant will lose their jobs. “Some” Studios will merge.
Remember in July, new boss Asha Sharma took over «“The biggest restructuring in XBOX history”recognizing the company’s problems and its low profitability. Beyond that, XBOX has a smaller executive hierarchy, four studios have regained their independence, and 1,600 people, including long-suffering ZeniMax, have been forced into the streets. The same number of people will still be out of work by July 2027, when the Greens will lose 20% of their staff.
