Netmarble has decided to actually split the Western version of its multiplayer action-RPG Game of Thrones: King’s Road into two branches. On October 14, a global content-adjusted version with redesigned development systems, combat mechanics, economy, and interface will be available to players, but current progress on the Western servers will not be transferred to the new servers. Players will be able to stay on old servers with their characters, or start a new game in an updated version.
The developers explained this decision because there were too many differences between the current Western servers and the already updated Asian versions.
