These are two versions of the same Phase 1 Pokémon, one regular and one in a specially illustrated format, and Mega Evolution will return as the protagonist of the card game thanks to Mega Rayquaza-ex and the new Stadium Card mechanic.
Two Kamen Rider cards in preview
Masquerain, the Eyes Pokémon evolved from Surskit, arrives in Mega Evolution – Delta Realm with 110 HP and a Grass type. The first attack on “Dread Mark” consumes a single colorless energy and causes 30 points of damage, while also preventing the opponent’s defending Pokémon from attacking in the next turn. The second, Coleopanic, requires Grass Energy: it reveals the last seven cards of the deck and deals 50 damage to each Pokémon that also has a Coleopanic attack, then shuffles the Pokémon revealed to the deck and discards the other cards drawn. This card is weak against fire (x2), has no resistance, and the retreat cost is only 1 energy point.
The first edition, numbered 003/103, is a general printing Yasukuni Shrine Illustrationthe Kamen Rider is depicted flying among the leaves. The second, numbered 104/103 and therefore outside the base set’s numbering range, is a rare card with a full-panel illustration signed by Red that zooms in on the frame of the Pokémon immersed in vegetation. The two cards have the same text and game values, but the rarity and illustrations have been changed.
What happened to Mega Evolution – Delta Domination?
