Paradox emphasizes that this approach is part of the work of the Custodian team, which has been active for five years and aims to maintain Stellaris and gradually improve the experience through discussions with players.
The most important changes are pop group review. Starting from version 4.5, population groups are no longer divided according to factions and ethics. Instead, the percentage of the population belonging to different ethics and factions is recorded. This change should significantly reduce the number of teams in the advanced stages of the game and make the planet management screen less crowded. The system that determines the transition of pops from one morality or faction to another has also been revised, with new tooltips that more clearly explain the factors involved.
Not even faction Has been reworked. Related screens now show the appeal of each faction within the empire and what factors determine its popularity. Actions to suppress or support a faction will also have a more pronounced impact on its growth rate.
