Streaming service Netflix has released the latest footage from the upcoming animated series Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2. In the short clip, viewers get a look at familiar characters from future series, like Wick Kingsley and Roman Reigns, whose fates have traditionally only left fans anxious.
Production of the ten-episode series is once again being produced by Japanese studio Trigger under the direction of director Kai Ikarashi. The author is keeping plot details secret for the time being, but the dark atmosphere of Night City will not change – here, any fatal mistake will immediately end a person’s life.
The premiere will take place on October 20, 2026, and viewers will once again be immersed in the grim story of a brutal technological future.
