Razer has launched two sets of desktop speakers – Mako and Mako X. The key difference between them is that the Mako set is made according to the acoustic formula 2.1: it includes two 2.75-inch full-range speakers and a separate 3.5-inch subwoofer. The Mako X, in turn, does not include a subwoofer.

Razer notes that the Mako speaker set offers 40W of output power and 60W of peak power, as well as frequency reproduction up to 45Hz. At the same time, the speaker supports virtual 7.1 sound effects.
The Mako X kit offers 30W output power, 45W peak power and frequency reproduction up to 60Hz. They also support virtual 7.1 audio.
Razer Mako speakers feature Razer Chroma RGB projection lighting technology, which features 16.8 million colors and dynamic lighting effects, and supports more than 300 Chroma-integrated games.
The speaker is connected via a USB-C cable to provide power and audio signal transmission. Increase power output when connected to a compatible USB-C power source rated 30W or higher. Alternative connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.3 and a 3.5mm audio jack. The Mako X speaker features 10-zone Chroma RGB lighting and the same connectivity options as the Mako model.
Razer didn’t reveal how much the Mako and Mako X desktop speaker sets will cost, or when they will be available.
