Popular Itasha-style uniforms decorated with anime and video game characters were sanctioned by automated filters and complaints. This situation seems particularly paradoxical because the new part of the series takes place entirely in Japan, the historical home of this unique reorientation.
Not only were finished works affected, but in-game photos and even unfinished sketches in the editor were mistaken for inappropriate content by the system. Fans are demanding clear moderation rules from the studio and accusing the developer of hypocrisy after the game’s culture was actively exploited to promote it at launch.
