Xiaomi announced that it has started selling Redmi Note 17 series smartphones in Russia. The series includes three models: the basic Redmi Note 17, the Redmi Note 17 Pro 5G and the first launch of the series, the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max 5G.
The main characteristic of new products is autonomy. Redmi Note 17 is equipped with a 7700mAh battery and 45W charging, Note 17 Pro 5G is equipped with 8340mAh and 67W, and the flagship Note 17 Pro Max 5G is equipped with a 10000mAh battery and supports 100W HyperCharge. The latter can also charge other devices with up to 27 W. Xiaomi says the battery retains at least 80% of its original capacity after 1,600 charging cycles.
Redmi Note 17 Pro Max 5G is equipped with a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2772×1280 pixels, a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, and a peak brightness of 3500 nits. It is equipped with 4nm Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 internally and uses UFS 4.1 for data storage. The main camera has a resolution of 50 pixels and supports optical anti-shake, and the front camera has a resolution of 32 pixels.
The Redmi Note 17 Pro 5G uses a similar 6.83-inch AMOLED display 1.5K/120 Hz, but is built on the Snapdragon 6s Gen 4. The main camera also has a resolution of 50 MP and OIS. Both Pro models are protected to IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K standards, equipped with Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and, according to the manufacturer, passed certification tests for drops from three meters onto granite surfaces.
The base version of the Redmi Note 17 comes with a larger 6.99-inch 120Hz FHD+ AMOLED display, Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 2 processor, and 50MP main camera. The smartphone has an IP65 rating, NFC capabilities, and the ability to install a microSD card.
In Russia, the Redmi Note 17 is priced from 21,990 rubles, the Redmi Note 17 Pro 5G is priced from 30,990 rubles, and the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max 5G is priced from 45,990 rubles. As of October 31, older models are available at promotional prices: Pro 5G starts at 28,990 rubles, Pro Max 5G starts at 42,990 rubles.
In addition, buyers of this series can also enjoy a two-year extended warranty, with a free screen replacement or repair in the first six months, and a free battery replacement within 36 months before October 31.
