Google Photos services now have many new featuresincluding the Redact tool for hiding sensitive information in photos, and mood filters to give photos a special look.

The marking feature set gets three innovations. Redact’s Pencil lets you hide confidential information in your photos – pixelate them or apply a blur effect. There’s a slider for adjusting Pencil thickness, as well as a new font for the Text feature. These changes have begun rolling out to the Google Photos app for Android globally.
Mood feature designed to quickly add color to your photos “Nostalgic, retro look”. Available in 35mm film effects, 2000s digital camera styles and many other options. Each filter has a slider for adjustment “Intelligent adaptation to specific photos”. The feature will also be available to Android users worldwide.
15 new Remix templates have been added, including designs for red carpet photos, original birthday cards and photo booth style photos. These templates will appear in the Android and Apple iOS versions of the app for users in multiple countries.
The Wardrobe feature is available in Android and iOS apps in Brazil, India, and the United States, but requires a subscription to Google AI Pro or AI Ultra. Finally, integration with the Gemini Spark artificial intelligence agent is achieved.
