The Re-Logic team revealed its plans for Terraria in the September issue of State of the Game. Currently, the developers are completing preparations for the first phase of the cross-platform game and are expected to submit it for certification soon, after which they will start promoting the second phase.
The developers intend to launch Phase 2 as soon as possible after Phase 1, but “other things” may come up in the middle. What exactly the team has prepared has not yet been revealed. At the same time, the studio is working on the remaining fixes after version 1.4.5.8 and continues to work on Terraria 1.4.6, combining development on different platforms.

In addition, Re-Logic also talked about the Gamescom trip and the Shanghai TapTap Game Fest 2026 ceremony. This is the team’s first official fan event since 2011. The developers held two events to interact with fans and acknowledged that the size and attitude of the Chinese community exceeded their expectations. Now the team is back at work – and apparently cross-platform play is very close.
