Developers of American studio Supergiant Games (Transistor, Pyre) celebrate the first anniversary of the release of the mythical roguelike action game “Hades 2” shared Two pieces of news that fans of the series will care about.

First, Supergiant Games partnered with the international music festival Game Music Festival to release the “Ballads of the Underworld” concert based on “Hades” and “Hades 2” in the public domain in June.
The concert features “Hades 2” co-composer Darren Korb, singer Ashley Barrett and multiple voice actors, and is conducted by Austin Wintory, the project’s second co-composer.
Secondly, Developing Hell is a multi-episode documentary about the development of the original Hades produced by the Noclip team, released from 2018 to 2021, and will be followed by a sequel after the game itself.
The sequel is called Developing Hell 2. The first episode is already available to watch, but only for those who support Noclip financially Patron. While you wait for the public release, you can watch the trailer.
The release version of Hades 2 will be released on PC on September 25, 2025 (the Russian version will cost 770 rubles until October 1) steam, EGS), Nintendo Switch and Switch 2, and will be available on PS5, Xbox Series X and S on April 14, 2026.
“Hades 2” is the first sequel in Supergiant history. Development took about five years, but according to the team, it was worth it. The project’s success allowed the studio to continue making games.
