This past gaming week for Game Pass subscriptions was pretty quiet. From September 19th to 26th, the service only added previously announced items, plus a few announcements, but nothing more. See our regular roundup of all the week’s most interesting Game Pass news.
What’s new in Game Pass
This week, all subscription levels from Ultimate to Essential have been updated with new products:
- Dune: Awakening (Xbox, PC) — Ultimate Edition, Advanced Edition, PC
- Well Dweller (Xbox, PC) — Ultimate, PC
- Mad King Redemption (Xbox, PC) – Ultimate Edition, Advanced Edition, PC
- Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 (Xbox, PC) – Advanced Edition, previously released in Ultimate and PC
- Rematch (Xbox, PC) – Essential, previously released in Ultimate, Premium and PC
The biggest new Game Pass game on this list is Dune: Awakening. But if you look at the ratings, “Well Dweller” can be regarded as the main version. Metroidvania has received critical acclaim from critics and players alike.

We also noticed that the Game Pass game Quarantine launched free DLC Miami Zero this week. The product will be available on October 15, 2026.
Games to be removed from Game Pass
On September 30, 7 items will definitely be removed from Game Pass subscriptions:
- Atomic Fall (Xbox, PC)
- Lara Croft and the Keeper of Light (Xbox, PC)
- Little Nightmares 2 Enhanced Edition (Xbox, PC)
- Little Rocket Lab (Xbox, PC)
- Master (Xbox, PC)
- Oath (Xbox, PC)
- Terminal Brigade (Xbox, PC)
At the same time, Microsoft previously announced that it would remove 8 games from the shelves. The list then also included SOPA’s Stolen Potato Story, but it was recently removed from the section showing items to be excluded from Game Pass. But the Xbox team has yet to make an official statement.
