Microsoft continues to expand the number of options Xbox Insiders are testing on the console. This week, some Alpha Skip-Ahead users got the new Weekly Gaming Streak feature. It tracks the regularity of game activity and recommends maintaining continuity by running any project at least three days a week.
To start a series, it is enough to play the game on 3 different days of the week. Once the conditions are met, Xbox will display a notification indicating that the first week is complete with an appropriate animation.
The same notice states that the event will continue next week, which means it will take at least 3 game days to continue the streak.

I ran Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds for about 15 seconds and it triggered the notification. It appears to be completely separate from the Xbox Rewards and Game Pass collections.
The weekly game win streak counter also appears in various elements of the Xbox interface: in the user profile, in the Xbox Guide, and on the home screen. This differentiates the new feature from regular Microsoft Rewards tasks, which previously received their own tracking elements
At this time, Microsoft has not officially announced the feature or announced rewards for long-term continuous operation.
