Bandai Namco Entertainment announced Co-oppositeness: Echoes of Ada Moving towards server shutdown: online services will be Maggio 2027. However, this does not mark the end of the game, which will be resurrected in a game Offline version without any PvP elementsturning it into a PvE-only experience.
Online updates will cease after the scheduled update in October 2026, while premium Syn Coins will remain available for purchase until December 17. Data transfer functionality is also coming in December, which will allow you to move some saves to a future offline version; further details will be announced soon.
The exact date for server shutdown and transition to an offline version will be announced in March 2027. From that point on, all online features such as matchmaking, shared progress, and PvPvE activities will be disabled.
A project that didn’t meet its goals
For those of you who don’t know Synduality: Echoes of Ada is part of a larger Bandai Namco’s cross-media projects. This universe includes Anime Duality: Blackwhich consists of two seasons and is available to watch on Disney+, is set in the year 2242, approximately twenty years after the events narrated in the game. The universe also includes the Synduality: Ellie manga serialized in Monthly Comic Alive, and the Synduality: Kaleido novel series published in Monthly Hobby Japan.
Unfortunately, when it comes to video games, the series misses the mark: Synduality: Echoes of Ada is presented as a PvPvE sci-fi shooter with an extraction shooting mechanic, in which players pilot Cradle Conffins, freely customizable mechas from their appearance to their arsenal, with the aim of exploring the desolate lands of the planet, which are depopulated by the so-called “Tears of the Crescent Raid” AO, a rare and important resource.
Unfortunately, the title received International ratings are very lukewarm (Here’s our review, by the way) And judging by the announcement of a server shutdown less than two years after launch, the public doesn’t seem to be rewarding the product either.
“Synduality: Noir” is an anime review worth watching before Bandai Namco’s game

One of the weak points of the title is precisely the multiplayer part, and according to Automaton, paradoxically, many Japanese users have responded positively to the arrival of an offline version without PvP, considering it a harmful component of the experience, with some saying that Bandai Namco should have launched it immediately instead of waiting until 2027.
