Not only does the game remain at the top of the global Steam charts, it also confidently surpasses such projects in popularity grand theft auto 5 and special attackand also topped Steam250’s Best Releases of 2026 rating.
John “Bucky” Buckley, Pocketpair’s head of publishing and communications, expressed his sincere gratitude to fans for their outpouring of support since exiting early access. He said that despite doubts and criticism in the past, the response from real players exceeded all expectations of the developers and proved the viability of the project with numbers and popularity.
At the same time, the developer humorously points out that player success is no guarantee of catching the attention of gaming industry priests at an upcoming awards ceremony. However, the game’s high reviews and “highly positive” status on Steam speak for themselves, confirming how far the project has come in recent years.
