Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe has launched Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve into early access. Players who pre-order the Deluxe Edition can play it now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam. The global launch will take place on October 2, 2026.
The new components run on Unreal Engine 5 and Bandai Namco Aces’ own technology. The developers promise the largest multiplayer in the series’ history, as well as cross-platform play capabilities, authentic fighters, detailed locations and cinematic first-person scenarios.
The plot takes place in the fictional universe of the series. The Central Uzea Federation has fallen to the occupation of the Sotoya Republic. Players will play ace warriors and fight to regain their homeland. They will decide the future of the country on the battlefield.
In multiplayer mode, you can customize your mercenary pilot, find other players from around the world through special hubs, and participate in cooperative and competitive modes.
“Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve” has entered the early access stage. The game will make its world premiere on October 2 on Steam for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
