After an absence of nearly 10 years, the writer responsible for one of the best missions in the critically acclaimed open-world action role-playing film The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt returns to Polish studio CD Projekt Red.

We’re talking about the story mission “Family Matters,” during which the witcher Geralt of Rivia helps retired Temerian officer Philip Stanger, better known as the Bloody Baron, find his family.
Screenwriter Karolina Stachyra, who was responsible for dialogue and cutscenes in Family Matters (not to mention her work on Hearts of Stone and Blood & Wine), left CDPR in November 2016 and has yet to commit to returning.

After nine years as narrative director at Techland (Dying Light series) and other Stakhir studios back CD Projekt Red: Starting in February, the expert worked as a freelance consultant, and in August she became a full-time writer.
Stakhyra’s return might have gone unnoticed were it not for bloggers’ observations b0ys broken heartspecializes in CD Projekt Red activities, especially those in the Witcher series.

At the request of the publication computer gamer A CD Projekt Red representative officially confirmed Stakhyra’s return to staff, but declined to reveal which game the writer is currently working on.
CD Projekt Red’s current priority is The Witcher 4. The ambitious RPG is in active production (almost half the entire studio is working on the project) and is gearing up for release on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X, and S in 2028.
