The Monster Hunter series is definitely a success story for Capcom on consoles, and in the future they hope to convince players through the series on smartphones. The mobile spin-off Monster Hunter: Outlander has been in the works for some time, and now has a specific release date.
Those interested can now pull out their calendars and mark October 29, 2026 in red. Capcom and TiMi Studio Group have now jointly confirmed that the game will be coming to iOS and Android platforms in a few weeks. Regardless, this applies to local regions, and beyond that, only the Chinese version of the game won’t launch until later in 2027.

Monster Hunter: Outlander will also offer classic series gameplay – adapted for mobile platforms. So, you can expect hacking elements as well as role-playing features.
The quality is likely to be quite good, as developer TiMi has so far turned heads with excellent action implementations of well-known franchises. In addition, the studio is also responsible for Call of Duty: Mobile and Pokémon League.
