Elden Ring, the critically acclaimed open-world fantasy action role-playing game from Japanese studio FromSoftware, has received a new paid expansion pack and an update with balance changes, two years after Shadow of the Erdtree.

The DLC, called the Tarnished Pack, is a collection of additional content for Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition, the version of Elden Ring that released today (August 28) for the Nintendo Switch 2 hybrid console.
The Fade Pack offers two starting classes (Eda Knight, Heavy Knight), four armor sets for the hero, and three alternate skins for Flux. The set is priced at $5, in Russian it is 359 rubles steam.

A few hours after its release, Turnished Pack had a 73% rating on Steam based on 440 responses (“mostly positive” reviews), but that number doesn’t tell the full story.
Positive reviews joked that Annihilation’s DLC would come with vest rebirth, while the authors of negative reviews were very disappointed with the situation. “It’s just a slap in the face to the fans. This should be a freebie.”– certainly Stimulus 696.
It is worth noting that without “Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition”, in principle there would be no “Turnished Pack”
There is a patch before the release of the Tarnished Pack 1.17as noted in the publication IGNincluding the game’s biggest balance changes in years. In particular, FromSoftware has enhanced a variety of weapons, skills and spells.
Elden Ring is out on PC (steam), PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, now available on Nintendo Switch 2. The game was highly praised, winning a major award at the 2022 Game Awards, and has sold over 30 million copies.
