The first closed network test of FromSoftware Studio’s Nintendo Switch 2 console-exclusive multiplayer action game “Dusk Blood” ended prematurely due to an influx of players that caused a server crash. Despite the technical issues and queues, the community quickly found comfort in this new favorite.
The protagonist of the test is Zork – a heavily armed, comical and extremely charming character from the Bloodsworn profession. Boasting a powerful arsenal of weapons (including cables, harpoons, missile barrages, and the ability to transform into living projectiles to knock down enemies), Zork’s comical design with his tongue (or beak) hanging out immediately appeals to players.
In less than 24 hours, fans turned the hero into a major internet meme, giving rise to the verb “zorking it” and sparking heated debate over who was hiding beneath the dangerous baby’s massive armor.
