It’s only been about a month since the launch of the Pixel 11 series of smartphones, but details about the next in the series of devices – the Pixel 11a models – have already surfaced on the internet. The latest leak not only reveals the design of the device but also the color options and some technical specifications.

Android Headlines released a rendering of Pixel 11a. Judging from these images, Google decided to stick to its proven path and not fundamentally change the design of last year’s model. The camera module has received minor changes. It has a shorter oval shape compared to the module on the Pixel 10a.
Not only will the design remain similar, but so will the dimensions of the device. Still, the differences are there, and they might be enough to prevent a Pixel 10a case from fitting with the Pixel 11a. According to reports, the Pixel 11a will be shorter than the Pixel 10a and Pixel 9a. According to reports, the size of the new product will be 153.46×72.35×9 mm. By comparison, the Pixel 10a measures 153.9 x 73 x 9 mm, while the Pixel 9a measures 154.7 x 73.3 x 8.9 mm.
Although the design will remain almost the same, the hardware of the device will change. It seems that this time Google will equip its next-generation A series smartphones with Tensor G6 chips and MediaTek modems. This is a significant improvement over the Tensor G4 processor and Samsung modem in the Pixel 10a.
As for other improvements, it looks like we can expect a brighter screen. It is reported that the peak brightness of the display will be 3350 cd/m2 (compared to 3000 cd/m2)2 previous models). The leak also mentions an update to the front-facing camera, but there’s no specific information yet on which sensor Google will use.
The main camera features are expected to remain the same as last year (43 MP primary sensor and 13 MP secondary sensor). The display size is also likely to remain unchanged at 6.3 inches. It is expected to support refresh rates from 60 to 120 Hz. Finally, the leak points to possible color options for the device: black, silver, green, and purple. According to reports, the price may change as the current situation in the memory market may cause the price to increase.
