Spider-Man was canceled, but Sony and Amazon are rumored to be preparing more series based on the Spider-Man comics. One of them will be based on The Clone Saga – a cult and one of the key stories of Friendly Neighbors in the 90s.
That’s according to Deadline reports. Fans will hear the stories of Ben Reilly and Kane Parker. Sources of evidence are mixed, but warn that while the comics serve as source material and inspiration, significant changes may occur in the film adaptation.
According to one version, the heroes will try to understand their nature and fight other clones. It has also been reported that Ben and Cain’s origin story may change in the show. Kevin Yu (“Bob’s Burgers,” “Chinese Americans”) will helm.
