Xbox users finally have their own “Platinum” called “Mythic Achievements”

Xbox introduces Mythic Achievements, a new feature that recognizes players who have completed all of the original achievements in the game. This feature is currently available to Xbox Insider members.

Achievements added later via DLC or updates are not required to be completed. If a game gains mythic status, it remains with the player even if a new achievement is subsequently added to the game.

The system also works retroactively: games completed before this feature was introduced can automatically gain Mythic status (including items from the Xbox 360).

Xbox Profile now has a new Games tab that displays your achievement history, completed games, and progress toward your next Gamerscore badge. Games with mythical status are characterized by a special framework within the history of player achievement. You can also view your friends’ games tab, including games they completed before reaching Mythic status.

For games that have not yet reached mythic status, there is a progress bar at the top of the achievement list that shows how close the player is to meeting all required conditions. The list can be filtered to focus on the remaining original achievements, while achievements added later are marked “new” and do not count toward mythic status.
